Share My Stash

Sharing lets someone you trust look at or help care for your ornament collection.

In this version of BaubleStash, you share your default My Stash collection. You do not choose individual boxes or create a separate shared collection.

Who needs Plus

Person	Needs Plus?
Owner who sends the invitation	Yes, Plus must be active
Person receiving the invitation	No, Free can accept

The recipient does not need to pay to view or help edit a collection shared with them.

Invite someone

Shared with me is both the recipient area and the owner’s sharing controls.

Mobile app

1. Open My Stash.
2. Select Share my stash.
3. Enter the recipient’s Email address.
4. Choose View Only or Can Edit.
5. Select Send invitation.

Website

1. Sign in and open Shared with me.
2. In the Share my stash section, enter the Recipient email.
3. Choose View Only or Can Edit.
4. Select Send invitation.

The invitation is a one-time code sent by email. It expires after seven days.

Accept an invitation

Mobile app

1. Open More.
2. Select Shared with me.
3. Enter the Invitation code from the email.
4. Select Accept.

Website

1. Sign in and open Shared with me.
2. Enter the Invitation code.
3. Select Accept invitation.

The shared collection then appears under Shared with me.

What the recipient can see

• Ornaments in the shared My Stash
• Condition and notes on shared copies
• Box name and location for shared copies
• Cloud-backed photos attached to shared copies
• Their permission level

The recipient cannot see:

• Your device-only Free photos
• Your private total ornament count
• Boxes or ornaments outside the shared collection
• Your subscription details
• The ability to invite someone else

Permissions

View Only

The recipient can look at the collection and open shared cloud photos. They cannot change anything.

Can Edit

The recipient can:

• Add a physical copy to an existing ornament in the shared collection
• Change condition
• Change notes

They cannot:

• Delete a copy
• Move a copy to another box
• Change the box assignment
• Add, replace, or remove photos
• Change Best copy
• Invite or remove other people
• See your private account details

The website is the clearest place to see these limits: Edit condition or notes is the only edit action shown to a Can Edit recipient.

Photo sharing

Only Plus cloud-backed photos can appear in a shared collection. Device-local Free photos are never shared.

If a copy has no cloud photo, the recipient sees a message such as “No cloud-backed photos shared for this copy.”

Change or revoke access

Website

1. Open Shared with me.
2. Find the person under People with access.
3. Change View Only / Can Edit, or select Revoke.
4. To cancel an unaccepted invitation, use Cancel under Pending invitations.

Mobile app

1. Open Share my stash.
2. Find the person.
3. Select Make View Only or Make Can Edit.
4. Select Revoke access.

Revoking access removes future access. It does not delete the owner’s records.
