Shared collection problems
The invitation code does not work
- Sign in with the exact email address that received the invitation.
- Copy the full code with no extra spaces.
- Check whether the invitation expired after seven days.
- Ask the owner to send a new invitation.
- Check whether the owner revoked the invitation.
I accepted but do not see the collection
- Open Shared with me.
- Refresh or reopen the screen.
- Confirm you are signed in to the right account.
- Ask the owner whether your access is still active.
The owner’s Plus plan must be active for owner-sponsored sharing. If it is paused or expired, the shared collection may be unavailable.
I can see the collection but not the photos
Only cloud-backed photos are shared. Device-only Free photos never appear.
Ask the owner to:
- Use an active Plus plan.
- Enable Cloud Photo Backup.
- Upload the photo to the shared copy.
I cannot edit
Check your permission under Shared with me.
- View Only cannot edit anything.
- Can Edit can add copies and edit condition or notes, but not boxes, photos, deletion, or sharing.
Ask the owner to change your permission if needed.
The shared collection is unavailable
Possible reasons:
- The owner revoked your access.
- The invitation was canceled.
- The owner’s Plus plan is no longer active.
- You are offline.
- The collection was removed.
Select Try again when you are online. If it still fails, contact the owner.
My changes do not appear for the owner
The shared collection needs a connection. If the app said Waiting to sync, keep it open while online until the change saves.
If the owner revoked access while you were offline, BaubleStash may not accept the queued change. Your local text should be preserved so you can copy it before discarding.
I see an ornament but not the owner’s other boxes
That is intentional. Shared access is limited to the shared My Stash collection. The owner’s other boxes, private totals, and unrelated notes are not exposed.
