Profile photo and public profile
Your display name and profile photo appear on your public profile. Your stash, boxes, notes, photographs, email address, and subscription details do not appear there.
Change your profile photo
Website
- Sign in and open Account & Plus.
- Under How others see you, select Change photo.
- Choose a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image.
BaubleStash crops the image square and removes photo metadata. The new photo appears in the app and on your public profile.
Mobile app
- Open More.
- In your account card, select Add profile photo or Change photo.
- Choose a photo and confirm.
To remove a custom photo, select Remove photo. Your sign-in provider photo is used again when one is available.
Sign-in provider photos
If you sign in with Google or Facebook, BaubleStash uses the profile photo from that provider by default. A custom photo you upload replaces it. Apple sign-in does not provide a photo.
Make your public profile private
- Open Account & Plus → How others see you.
- Select Private profile — only you and platform administrators can view it.
- Select Save profile.
When your profile is private, other collectors and anonymous visitors cannot open your public profile. Your display name and photo can still appear to people you explicitly share a collection with, and approved catalog contributions remain public with the attribution you chose.
View your public profile
Select View public profile under Account & Plus. The public page shows only your display name, profile photo, and the month you started using BaubleStash.
If a profile photo will not upload
- Use a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image.
- Choose an image under 8 MB.
- Try a smaller image if the service is busy.
- On mobile, check that BaubleStash can access the selected photo.
