Take and manage photos

Photos belong to a physical copy, not to the shared catalog design. Two copies of the same ornament can have different photos.

On Free, photos stay on the mobile device where they were taken or imported. On Plus, you can choose to back them up privately and view them on the web.

Add a photo on the mobile app

While adding an ornament

1. Start Add ornament.
2. Fill in the ornament details.
3. In the photo section, select Take photo or Choose photo.
4. Choose a Photo type such as Ornament or Packaging front.
5. Save the ornament.

To an existing copy

1. Open the ornament.
2. Open the physical copy.
3. Under Photos, select Take photo or Choose photo.
4. Choose a photo type.
5. The photo is saved to that copy.

Add a photo on the website

Website photo upload is for Plus cloud photos only.

1. Open the ornament.
2. On a copy, select Manage photos.
3. Choose a file (JPEG, PNG, or WebP).
4. Choose a Photo label.
5. Optionally select Use as the main photo for this copy.
6. Select Upload private photo.

The website cannot read photos that exist only on your phone.

View a photo

• Mobile: open the copy and tap a thumbnail.
• Web: open the ornament. Cloud thumbnails appear on the copy card. Select Manage photos to see larger images.

Replace a photo

On mobile:

1. Open the copy’s photo.
2. Select Replace to use the camera, or Choose replacement to pick from your library.
3. Choose the new image.

Replacing keeps the photo’s place and label. The old managed copy is removed after the new one is saved.

On the web, remove the cloud photo and upload a new one if you need to replace it.

Remove a photo

On mobile:

1. Open the copy’s photo.
2. Select Remove.
3. Confirm Remove photo.

This removes the photo from that copy on the phone. It does not remove the ornament or its other details.

On the web:

1. Open Manage photos.
2. Select Remove under the cloud photo.

Removing a cloud photo does not delete a local copy that may still exist on your phone.

Choose a primary photo

The primary photo is the one BaubleStash prefers when it shows a representative image for the ornament.

• On mobile, select Make primary on a photo.
• On the web, check Use as the main photo for this copy during upload.

If a copy has no primary photo, BaubleStash may use another copy’s photo. A Best copy’s primary photo is preferred when one exists.

Photo types

Use the labels to make photos easier to find:

• Ornament
• Packaging front
• Packaging back
• Packaging top
• Packaging bottom
• Other

A copy can have several photos with different labels.

Export and deletion

Download My Data includes actual available private cloud photo files. On mobile, More → Account & data → Save or transfer local photos saves full available local images separately without Plus. Account deletion is deliberate and separate from Plus lapse; it does not cancel store billing. Backup, audit and necessary financial-record retention follow separate disclosed schedules that require hosted verification.
