Mobile, web, or both?
Mobile apps are in development
The iPhone, iPad, and Android apps are not yet available as public store downloads. This guide describes the mobile features being prepared alongside the website. Scanning and offline access belong to the mobile app.
Use the mobile app when you are with your ornaments. Use the website when you are at a computer, organizing a large batch, or reviewing catalog contributions.
Your account and My Stash are shared between them. Device-only photos are the main exception.

What stays on the phone
Free-plan photographs are stored only on the mobile device that took or imported them. The website cannot retrieve them.
If a Free photo matters to you, keep the original in your phone’s photo library or consider Cloud Photo Backup with Plus.
What syncs
Your ornaments, boxes, condition, and notes stay together through your account. After signing in and syncing at least once, the mobile app keeps your own stash on the phone so you can search and edit it offline. It checks only saved codes when scanning without a connection.
Shared stashes, invitations, and sending catalog contributions need a connection. Plus photo backup is optional and needs a connection to upload photos.
The website is online-first. If the connection drops, reload or try again when you are back online.
