Add or scan an ornament
Scan a product barcode or add a private ornament by name. A catalog match is helpful, but never required.
BaubleStash helps ornament collectors remember every physical piece, avoid duplicates, and open a storage box with confidence.
Your private collection stays private. No ads. No automatic catalog publishing.
Illustrative preview. Your real records come from your own stash.
BaubleStash is built around the two questions collectors ask most: “Do I already own it?” and “What is in this box?”
Scan a product barcode or add a private ornament by name. A catalog match is helpful, but never required.
Own two? Give each copy its own condition, notes, storage box, and photos. Your count follows the real ornaments.
Search by name, maker, series, or manufacturer item number. Open a box to see exactly what is packed inside.
Every feature answers a practical collecting job. Not a dashboard for its own sake.
Check whether you already own an ornament before bringing home another one.
Organize physical ornaments into storage boxes and print a QR label for each one.
Keep private photos of ornaments and packaging so the right piece is easy to identify.
Plus owners can invite someone to view or help care for their stash, with server-checked permissions.
A barcode is evidence, not a requirement. Add a private ornament when the shared catalog does not know it yet. Choose “Unknown” for the maker. Keep the release unknown until you have real evidence.
If Angie cannot find an ornament without a tutorial, the screen is not finished.

No. You can create a private ornament with its name, maker, year, and item number, then add one or more physical copies. A known barcode can make later scanning faster.
It means you have two physical ornaments for that design. Each copy can have its own condition, notes, storage box, and photographs.
That is a valid state. BaubleStash keeps the physical copy as “Release unknown” instead of inventing a year or edition.
Yes. A box label can be a printed BaubleStash QR label or any distinct scannable third-party code. Within one stash, a code belongs to one box.
No. Private photos are not published automatically. Free photos stay on the supported mobile device. Plus photos can be backed up privately. A catalog photo is published only when you explicitly select it for a contribution and a Librarian approves it.
